Its a couple days after the MA Cheese Fest and I’m still not ready to see much cheese yet. Then again, I’ve been eating quesadillas the past couple nights for dinner so take that statement with a grain of salt.
I went with my beau and we definitely picked out a few favorites. The Shy Brothers with their Hannahbells, The Grey Barn and Farm from Martha’s Vineyard (everything but especially the Prufrock) and the Great Hill Blue at Great Hill Dairy. Beyond cheese, there was a great goats milk yogurt from Foxboro Cheese Co (go to their farmstand!), the beau’s new favorite pickles at Fox Point Pickling Company, and slow rise bread from Nashoba Brook Bakery. On top of that there were ciders and wines and even a mac n cheese competition between the chefs at Grafton Group (Park v Grafton St). Beyond that, there were a bunch of individual favorites at each stand. Check out my Pinterest board dedicated to these (or I’d need to keep every business card from the Fest)!
