Spring: The First Seeds Are in the Ground!

IMG_0724As you can see, there is a little trough where the seeds were planted. I’m attempting to minimize bugs taking over my plants so sweet peas, peas, radishes and carrots all went into the row – I was going through a garden remedy book suggests that organized chaos in the garden confuses insects because they can’t zero in on their dinner.

It makes sense: when working with flowers the opposite is preferred: they say to organize butterfly plants in a single group of only one or two colors so that they will be able to find their dinner.
